Former Napa County prosecutor wins $570K for discrimination retaliation lawsuit

A jury has ruled in favor of a former deputy district attorney in a discrimination retaliation lawsuit against Napa County, awarding more than $570,000 in damages.

A jury has ruled in favor of a former deputy district attorney in a discrimination retaliation lawsuit against Napa County, awarding more than $570,000 in damages.

Jose Rossi, who worked in the district attorney's office from 1993 to 2015, alleged that he was discriminated against on the basis of his age and disability as well as openly supporting the incumbent district attorney's opponent in an election.
