Law school deans’ battle over San Jose proposal brought to federal court

Lincoln Law School of San Jose has filed suit to prevent a competitor from opening a new branch.

Lincoln Law School of San Jose has taken its fight to prevent another state-accredited school from opening a branch in the same city to federal court.

The complaint the school filed last week raises antitrust and First Amendment issues in an attempt to block John F. Kennedy University College of Law, based in Pleasant Hill, from opening a San Jose branch in August.
