JFK law school seeking second campus amid falling enrollment

The East Bay school has applied to open a branch in San Jose, a proposal that has generated controversy.

A state-accredited law school seeking to expand into San Jose is doing so in the midst of a sharp drop in enrollment at its main campus in Pleasant Hill.

John. F. Kennedy University College of Law reported enrolling 79 students for the 2017-2018 school year, down 49.4 percent from the 156 it enrolled in 2013-2014.
