Retired Supreme Court justice who protected rape victim rights dies at 83
Former California Supreme Court Justice Armand Arabian, who served on every level of the state courts during his judicial career, died in his sleep at the age of 83, his family said.

Arabian died 16 months after the death of his wife, Nancy, to whom he was married for nearly 60 years. The late judge’s son, Robert, said his father died of a “broken heart.”
