Jury finds elite private school did not breach loan contract

A Los Angeles County Superior Court jury Thursday found that an elite private school in Santa Monica did not breach its payment obligations with regard to a multimillion-dollar loan from an educational nonprofit.

The superior court jury in Long Beach also found that the founder of the progressive school breached his fiduciary duty with regard to prepayments of the note, but did not award damages to either party.
