San Bernardino DA to chair committee seeking victims’ rights amendment

The National District Attorneys Association selected San Bernardino County DA Mike Ramos to chair a committee to add a victims’ rights amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

The National District Attorneys Association is reviving efforts to add a victims’ rights amendment to the U.S. Constitution, and San Bernardino County District Attorney Mike Ramos has been selected to lead the effort.

Ramos will serve as chairman of a national committee that will draft and support the amendment. Former Oklahoma state senator Brooks Douglass, himself a victim of violent crime, will also be part of the effort.
