LA wins decision that blocks DOJ from withholding funds
Once again President Donald Trump’s immigration policies have been foiled by a nationwide injunction.
Los Angeles City Attorney Mike Feuer thanked Covington & Burling LLP for its pro bono assistance in the lawsuit against the Justice Department over withholding funds from jurisdictions that won't help with federal immigration enforcement.
LOS ANGELES -- Once again President Donald Trump's immigration policies have been foiled by a nationwide injunction.
A federal judge in Los Angeles dealt a blow to the Trump administration by prohibiting the Justice Department from withholding funds from jurisdictions that refuse to comply with federal immigration enforcement.
