San Diego County supervisors support lawsuit against sanctuary state laws
The San Diego County Board of Supervisors voted 3-1 on Tuesday to file a legal brief in support of the Trump administration’s lawsuit against California’s sanctuary state laws.
SAN DIEGO -- The San Diego County Board of Supervisors voted 3-1 on Tuesday to file a legal brief in support of the Trump administration's lawsuit against California's sanctuary state laws.
The state's second largest county is the latest jurisdiction in California to voice its opposition to the state laws, including SB 54, which limits cooperation between local law enforcement agencies and federal immigration officials.
