Soros-backed PAC funds several challengers in DA’s races across the state
A political action committee funded by billionaire investor George Soros has donated nearly $2 million to candidates in several district attorney races in California.
For months, even as critics mocked her assertion, San Diego County District Attorney Summer Stephan claimed billionaire liberal donor George Soros was targeting her in the 2018 election.
On Friday, a Soros-backed political action committee spent $1.5 million to support Stephan’s opponent, Deputy Public Defender Genevieve Jones-Wright.
