Alfresco Software Inc., a San Mateo-based open-source software company has promoted Kamil Chaudhary to vice president and general counsel.

Chaudhary, started on April 30, replacing Paul Warenski, who left on April 15 following the April 9 sale of Alfresco to Thomas H. Lee Partners, a private equity firm. According to a company spokesperson, Warenski stepped down shortly after the sale to take a break and explore new opportunities.<...
