Lawyer suing Trump faces lawsuit by former partner
Michael J. Avenatti, the ubiquitous television presence and counsel to the porn actress suing the president and his personal attorney, is facing new legal troubles of his own. Avenatti’s former law partner sued the attorney for breach of contract, claiming Avenatti failed to make a payment of $2 million as required by a settlement approved by a federal bankruptcy judge in March.
