Nonprofit work has changed the way Newport Beach attorney Melody Mosley perceives family homelessness.
“In the past, if I thought about who was homeless, perhaps that person on the corner might come to mind,” Mosley said. “Now I realize that many, many people are just one paycheck away from being homeless.”
At first glance, these individuals can be hard to identify, she said.
