Election topples 2 DAs, leaves 2 in runoffs

San Bernardino's Mike Ramos and Modoc's Jordan Funk were voted out while incumbents in Contra Costa and Orange counties face November runoffs.

San Bernardino County’s longtime District Attorney Mike Ramos was toppled in Tuesday’s primary election by a challenger partially supported by the cleared defendants of a bungled criminal corruption trial that took six years to bring to a jury and 10 months to get not guilty verdicts.
