SAN DIEGO — Former U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch is urging women lawyers to play a leading role in fighting back against what she describes as the Trump administration’s efforts to take the country back to the 1950s.

Speaking at the Lawyers Club of San Diego’s annual dinner last week, Lynch decried state-sanctioned discrimination and the reversal of policies she said were put in place “to protect the dignity of all Americans.”...
