Beats says plaintiff had ‘one-shot deal’ over specific headphones line

Beats claims it doesn’t have to pay former hedge fund manager Steven Lamar anything for headphones released after the initial “Studio” line, reasoning that all parties understood at the time that the initial contract was limited to the Studio line.

Plaintiff's attorney Stephen E. Morrissey used an examination of former Beats Electronics LLC CEO Susan Paley Fisher as an opportunity to provide the courtroom audience a quick vocabulary lesson.
