Supreme Court scrutinizing bar’s handling of DA candidate’s license

The court wants to find out if Lenore Albert complied with its suspension order before her reinstatement

The California Supreme Court is seeking information from the State Bar about its decision to reinstate the legal license of an Orange County district attorney candidate just days before the June primary.

In a June 8 letter to State Bar General Counsel Vanessa Holton, the court gave the bar until today to provide information about Lenore Albert's compliance with the court's order suspending her.
