Modesto real estate attorney Robert F. Farrace was sentenced Monday to two years in prison for a mortgage fraud scheme.
A jury convicted Farrace, 54, in November on three counts of wire fraud. Authorities alleged he created a shell company called Dignitas LLC as part of a scheme to short sell two underwater properties he owned back to himself.
