Brewer named as Trump’s pick for U.S. attorney in Southern District

The San Diego white-collar defense attorney has been in private practice since 1982.

Civil litigator and white-collar defense attorney Robert S. Brewer Jr. of San Diego was named Wednesday as President Donald J. Trump's intended nominee to be the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of California.
