Lawyer says judge’s reduction of fees is unreasonable

In appellate court, an attorney argued that a superior court judge abused his discretion with the gross reduction of fees earned from a personal injury settlement.

LOS ANGELES -- In appellate court Tuesday, attorney Ian Herzog argued that a superior court judge grossly reduced his fees under the guise of protecting minor clients, despite a reasonable agreement between himself and the minor's mother.
