Conviction of man who killed grizzly bear vacated

A Montana man charged with violating the Endangered Species Act for killing a grizzly bear and later misplacing the carcass will be allowed to testify that he did so in self-defense, a 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals panel ruled in vacating the conviction.
