Apple, Samsung settle design patent infringement case

Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. settled its 7-year-old patent infringement lawsuit with Apple Inc. Wednesday after a San Jose federal jury returned a more costly verdict for infringing five iPhone patents in a retrial, bringing an end to a courtroom feud between the technology giants.
