Trump pushes forward with 9th Circuit nominees, tapping Seattle Perkins Coie partner for Wash. opening

President Donald Trump is pushing forward with efforts to fill a swath of vacancies on the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, announcing recently his latest pick for the court: a Seattle-based appellate attorney from Perkins Coie LLP.

President Donald J. Trump, pushing forward with efforts to fill a number of vacancies on the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, has announced his latest pick for the court: a Seattle-based appellate attorney from Perkins Coie LLP.

Eric D. Miller, who chairs the firm’s appellate practice, will fill a seat on the court traditionally reserved for members of the Washington state bar if he is confirmed by the U.S. Senate.
