Judge
Michael P. Judge, who led the Los Angeles County Public Defender’s Office from 1994 to 2011, diversifying its workforce and implementing pioneering programs, especially in the area of restorative justice, has died. He was 74.
Former State Bar President Luis J. Rodriguez, who considered Judge a mentor and friend, said he died at home among his family on July 17.
