Trump administration cannot threaten federal grants to two California counties
A 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals panel ruled Wednesday in favor of two California counties against a Trump administration executive order withholding some federal law enforcement grants to so-called “sanctuary jurisdictions.”

But the panel also vacated a nationwide injunction against the order, remanding it back to a Northern District of California court.
