Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Sandra Ann Thompson, who spent all of her 35 years as a bench officer in the South Bay, has died at the age of 71.
Thompson, known for her privacy and sense of humor, died somewhat unexpectedly Aug. 8 from a longtime illness, according to friends and colleagues.
