San Jose judge trims attorney fees in Anthem class action settlement
U.S. District Judge Lucy H. Koh blasted plaintiffs’ counsel during a June hearing for overbilling in the Anthem data breach class action, but she ultimately granted a newly assessed attorney fee of $31.05 million.
U.S. District Judge Lucy H. Koh blasted plaintiffs' counsel during a June hearing for overbilling in the Anthem data breach class action, but she ultimately granted a newly assessed attorney fee of $31.05 million.
The newly assessed amount is nearly $7 million less than the original $37.95 million attorney fee requested by plaintiffs counsel.
