Venable expands firm, IP practice with Fitzpatrick Cella additions
Two partners and one associate from Fitzpatrick, Cella, Harper & Scinto’s Costa Mesa office will migrate to Venable LLP later this year.

Venable LLP announced Tuesday it has reached an agreement to merge with Fitzpatrick, Cella, Harper & Scinto. The deal is expected to close Nov. 1.
Brendan McCormick, senior director of communications for Venable who spoke on behalf of both law firms, said three intellectual property attorneys from Fitzpatrick's Costa Mesa office will migrate over time to Venable's downtown Los Angeles office.
