Family sues Lyft over passenger death

Justin Michael Lavelle, 23, was being transported by Lyft driver Tariq Rasheed on Jan. 31 shortly after midnight when Lavelle was struck and killed by a car after Rasheed allegedly ejected him from the vehicle on the side of the 110 freeway, according to the wrongful death complaint.
