Anticipated Fox-Disney merger entity appoints former board member to chief legal officer
Viet D. Dinh, a former partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, will play a critical role in setting up the new company. Current General Counsel Gerson Zweifach will step following the close of The Walt Disney Company deal, expected in the first half of 2019.
Twenty-First Century Fox Inc. has announced the appointment of Viet D. Dinh as the company’s chief legal and policy officer. Lachlan Murdoch, the future chairman and CEO of the new “Fox,” the company to be spun off in connection with the merger with The Walt Disney Co., made the announcement on Monday, adding the appointment is effective immediately.
