Settlement allows audit of CJP to start

The Commission on Judicial Performance and the state auditor have reached a stipulated settlement in their nearly two-year legal dispute over an audit ordered by the Legislature. The terms put protections for the commission’s data into statute while allowing the full audit to go forward.
