A U.S. judge awarded plaintiffs attorneys $82 million in fees related to the settlements of two pharmaceutical antitrust lawsuits totaling $270 million.
U.S. District Court Judge William H. Orrick in San Francisco also granted final approval of the settlements. Three companies were accused of conspiring in pay-for-delay schemes to keep a generic version of the pain patch Lidoderm off the market.
