LA Superior Court hopes JAMS, nonprofit will help resolve more cases
A project of Tarzana-based Valley Bar Mediation Center is the first nonprofit to serve as a resource vendor settling Los Angeles County Superior Court cases.
Earlier this year, Mediation Center of Los Angeles helped settle a large collections case in three hours. The cost: $375. And it was done completely online. The parties were spread out in New York, San Diego, Orange and Los Angeles counties, but no one had to go anywhere.
