Attempts to stall mobile home negligence trial in bankruptcy court denied
A federal bankruptcy judge has allowed a negligence trial against the landlord of a Long beach mobile home park to proceed after the defendant hoped to stop the trial by filing for Chapter 7 protection.

But U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Erithe A. Smith of Santa Ana on Friday lifted an automatic stay obtained by debtor Friendly Village MHP Associates LP, one of the defendants in the civil trial case and the entity that holds the park.
