Cincinnati zoo sues for return of silverback gorilla Ndume
The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden sued Redwood City-based The Gorilla Foundation, seeking the return of a gorilla named Ndume. The zoo loaned the silverback to the foundation in 1991 as a companion for the famous sign language-speaking gorilla Koko, according to court documents filed Thursday in the Northern District.
