India-based outsourcing firm defeats discrimination lawsuit

One of India’s largest outsourcing technology companies did not discriminate against U.S. citizens by favoring Indian and other South Asian workers, a unanimous jury has found.

One of India's largest outsourcing technology companies did not discriminate against U.S. citizens by favoring Indian and other South Asian workers, a unanimous jury has found.

While the company does have a higher number of South Asian employees because it is based in India, a jury found Wednesday Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. was committed to increasing diversity in its local workforce during the alleged class period.
