Munger partner spearheads teen-police meetup
At an inaugural YMCA law enforcement teen forum, organized by YMCA board chairman Mark Helm, teenagers and officers set the groundwork for building better relations between law enforcement and the communities they police.
It was the first time many of these teens had sat face to face with a police officer. Many officers said the same of the kids.
Over 100 teens had gathered in a Cal State Los Angeles meeting room, joined by officials from the Los Angeles Police Department, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and the Los Angeles School Police Department.
