California will receive $148.7 million from Wells Fargo & Co. over fraudulent accounts claims, according to a settlement approved Friday by a Los Angeles County judge.
The money is part of a $575 million nationwide settlement. The company also agreed to create a website and take other steps to aid customers wronged by the company.
