The U.S. Supreme Court has announced it will review a recent federal appeals court decision making it easier to pursue securities claims against corporate defendants charged with misleading investors, potentially stopping the West Coast from becoming a hotbed for such litigation.

The U.S. Supreme Court announced it will review a federal appeals court decision making it easier to pursue securities claims against corporate defendants charged with misleading investors, potentially stopping the West Coast from becoming a hotbed for such litigation.

On Friday, the justices said in an orders list they were granting certiorari in the case, decided in April by the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
