Anderson sworn in as U.S. attorney in San Francisco
The new top federal prosecutor for the Northern District represented major companies such as Apple and Facebook while a partner at Sidley Austin.
David L. Anderson took the oath of office Tuesday as U.S. attorney for the Northern District of California from U.S. District Judge Richard G. Seeborg. His wife, Kat Anderson, attended.
David L. Anderson took the oath of office this week as the new U.S. attorney for the Northern District of California.
Anderson returns to the U.S. attorney’s office after eight years at Sidley Austin LLP in San Francisco. Previously, he was an assistant U.S. attorney from 1998 to 2002 then a First Assistant U.S. Attorney from 2008 to 2010.
