Federal courts can stretch funding through end of the month

The federal judiciary has money for one additional week.

The Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts announced Tuesday that federal court funding will last through Jan. 31, tacking an additional six days onto the previously announced exhaustion date of Jan. 25 amid the ongoing partial government shutdown.
