Elan S. Carr, a former Los Angeles County prosecutor, has been named U.S. Envoy to Monitor and Combat Anti-Semitism.
In a statement Tuesday, Secretary of State Michael R. Pompeo called Carr “a Jewish community leader who has played a prominent role in defending the safety of the Jewish people at home and abroad.”
