Tesla Inc.’s general counsel, Dane Butswinkas, has left the automaker after two months on the job.

First hired as outside counsel to help clean up Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk’s mess with the Securities and Exchange Commission last year, Butswinkas accepted a full-time role at the luxury car company in December after General Counsel Todd Maron announced plans to leave in January 2019.
