Defense blames key prosecution witness in client referral fraud trail
A trial underway in Orange County is the first for a group of defendants arrested in a 2017 worker’s compensation fraud investigation.
SANTA ANA -- An attorney facing criminal charges for alleged worker's compensation fraud is actually the victim of a con man who lied about his marketing tactics to dupe lawyers across Southern California into supporting his scheme, a defense attorney said Monday.
