William A. Richmond 1942-2019
William A. Richmond, who served as district attorney in Tulare and Alpine counties, died from lung cancer on March 1 at his home in Dillon, Montana. He was 76.

William A. Richmond, who served as district attorney in Tulare and Alpine counties, died from lung cancer on March 1 at his home in Dillon, Montana. He was 76.
Friends and colleagues said he would be remembered for his work as an environmental prosecutor, especially for his fights with the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power over water rights in the Eastern Sierra.
