Apple Inc. scored a point Wednesday in its massive legal war with Qualcomm after a U.S. magistrate judge denied Qualcomm's motion to compel Apple to turn over its source code for inspection.

The motion, filed ex parte on Feb. 21, sought to make Apple allow Qualcomm to inspect the code to "contextualize the existing source code printouts, and to properly prepare its experts to trial,"according to the order.
