Manohar Raju appointed interim San Francisco public defender
Raju, a defense attorney for 18 years, does not have an official start date since he lives outside the boundaries of San Francisco proper and will need to relocate before he can be sworn in.
Manohar P. Raju, San Francisco’s newly appointed interim public defender, intends to continue the office’s role in policymaking and reshape its approach to criminal defense.
