Judge won’t end long-running energy drink makers’ battle
Federal judge denies energy drink company’s motion to dismiss competitor’s civil claims in long-running case over false advertising, unfair business practices
RIVERSIDE -- A federal judge refused to dismiss a long-running legal battle between rival energy drink companies Monday but admonished both sides to keep it civil.
U.S. District Judge Jesus G. Bernal denied Vital Pharmaceuticals Inc.'s motion to dismiss Monster Energy Co.'s lawsuit and said Vital CEO John C. Owoc must remain a defendant despite Vital's claim the court...
