Writing is becoming more significant during the COVID-19 crisis

Awaiting oral argument scheduling in one of my cases, I wondered how the Court of Appeal was going to deal with the COVID-19 crisis. Was the court going to sua sponte cancel argument and adopt its tentative opinion as final? (Not a likely scenario since appellant had requested one.) I thought the more likely scenario would be what the U.S. Supreme Court is doing: hold oral argument via telephone.
