California makes voting by mail easier

While voting by mail has become a political flashpoint, with President Donald J. Trump and Attorney General William Barr inveighing against it, California has gone its own way with AB 860, expanding the ease with which voters will be able to vote by mail in the upcoming November 3 general election.
