Neither the passing bar, nor receiving a diploma, guarantee good lawyering

In her July 8 guest column, “A plea to the California Supreme Court for diploma privilege,” Dean Anna M. Han of Santa Clara Law School apparently suggested every law school graduate in California this year should receive a “pass” on the bar exam pursuant to what she describes as “the diploma privilege.”
